What other watch indicates the time by the position of a small ball? This ball moves to and fro across the face of the watch with the flow of the wearer’s arm movements; but as soon as the ABACUS reaches a horizontal position; the ball moves as if by magic – or at least by magnetism – to the right”point in time”.

USB Executive Watch
The Mr. Gadget Executive Watch is actually a pretty normal looking watch, with the exception that it doubles as a USB storage drive. You can store up to 1GB of your favorite files, pictures, video, or music in this device and access it later on any computer. All you need is a regular USB cable to make the process work. This is actually a really good idea.

Diesel Watch With No Face
You may wonder if there are buttons that activate the watch but there are non to be found.
The secret behind this men’s watch is the top surface is just a faceplate. The actual analog clocks are on the side of the watch.
In fact, there are four of them which you can can configure for any world time zone you desire. This worldly watch may not be the most practical and what will you do with the blank faceplate which seems like a bit of wasted real estate unless like the look of wearing a charm bracelet or have a sense of humor and put a funny sticker on it?
In any case, the Diesel DZ9044 will have friends guessing. You can buy this watch which is water resistant and comes with a black or brown leather band for $365.

Watch With No Face
Faceless Aurora Watch
Designer Jihun Yeom has creatively designed the Aurora Watch, which is a unique timepiece. Aurora is a watch that doesn’t have an apparent dial. There’s more of a transparent face with no signs of the hour or minutes hand. It’s not as if the designer forgot to put them there, he just got innovative and decided to perk up this analog piece by including funky laser light beams for the hands. The red beam indicates the minutes and the blue depicts the hour. They appear only when you tap the bevel edge around the watch ring; until then it’s just a hip jewelry around your wrist.

Thumbnail Watch with Color Glowing Feature
A futuristic concept, designed for a contest of future ideas, that looks amazing, but can’t be built with our current technology. This would probably bee the most stylish watch and all popular companies would cry if it hits the markets.
This watch design could reinvent our whole perception over watches. The projects comes from a design contest organized by Timex to get new ideas for their future projects. The Nail Watch, as they naturally called it, allows you to check the time with just a quick glance over your arm.
It can be turned on or switch colors by pressing on the top of your nail. We can only imagine what sort of technologies the manufacturers would have to use to stick it to your nail, or where would they place the batteries or even circuits. However, I think it would revolitionize the entire watch industry if it would hit the market.
